About VerbouwGroep Noord
My name is Niels, owner of VerbouwGroep Noord. I have been working in construction, plumbing and the renovation industry for over 15 years.
We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern building management. Not a standard contracting firm where everyone just does their own thing, but an organisation where renovation, plumbing & heating and electrical work come together under one name. We want to be a complete partner for our clients, from full home renovations and bathroom renovations to the technical disciplines that come with them.
The person we hire will not be just another employee. You will most likely be one of the first permanent colleagues in our next growth phase. That means you work directly alongside the owner and help build the company further.
What will you do?
As a carpenter you work on a wide range of renovation projects. The focus is on home renovations, bathroom renovations, extensions and other structural work in private homes. Your tasks include:
- Carrying out structural work within renovation projects
- Installing interior walls, ceilings and finishing carpentry
- Fitting window frames, doors and finishes
- Working on bathroom and home renovations
- Preparing work for installers and other tradespeople
- Carrying out demolition and repair work
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Thinking along about practical solutions during the work
- Working together with colleagues, subcontractors and other tradespeople
More than just carpentry
At VerbouwGroep Noord we consider good preparation just as important as the execution. That's why you will not only be asked to carry out the work, but also to think along about structural layouts, detailed solutions, material choices and the feasibility of designs.
Who are we looking for?
You don't need twenty years of experience. What matters more to us is that you have technical insight, enjoy working with your hands and are motivated to keep developing yourself.
You are:
- Handy and technically minded
- Independent and solution-oriented
- Customer-friendly and presentable
- In possession of a category B driving licence
- Accurate and responsible
- Motivated to keep developing yourself
- Someone who likes to take initiative and think along
A plus:
- Experience as a carpenter
- Experience within renovation projects
- Structural insight
- Able to work from drawings
