Full renovation from strip-out to handover, Haren
A house in Haren stripped back internally and rebuilt. The owners wanted a modern, functional home with a high-end finish, and chose to do everything in one programme rather than spread over years.
The situation
The bathroom was dated and cramped, with a small tub and tiling well past its best. The kitchen no longer worked, the electrical installation needed replacing, and the heating still ran on an old boiler setup with pipework that was partly due for renewal.
Our approach
We stripped the interior and rebuilt it. The bathroom was completely replanned with a double shower, a freestanding tub and natural-stone units. The kitchen was replaced, the electrical installation renewed in full to NEN 1010, and the heating system, gas pipework and much of the water supply were replaced. Underfloor heating was laid throughout, with insulation beneath the concrete floor.
The result
A house that matches new-build standards technically and in finish, but keeps the character of the original. Everything under one roof, with one point of contact from strip-out to handover.
